Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 12 oz beer room temperature

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix self-rising flour and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Stir in beer just until combined; do not overmix.
  4. Transfer batter to loaf pan and smooth top.
  5. Bake 45–50 minutes until golden and set.
  6. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
