Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough Base
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Flavor Additions
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder culinary grade
  • 2 tbsp freeze-dried strawberry powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then add egg and vanilla.
  4. Mix in dry ingredients until dough forms.
  5. Divide dough into three portions; flavor one with matcha, one with strawberry powder.
  6. Combine portions side-by-side, shape cookies, and place on baking sheet.
  7. Bake 10–12 minutes until set. Cool before serving.

Notes

Use freeze-dried strawberry powder for best color and flavor without extra moisture.
