Ingredients
  

Noodles
  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 1 cup Thai basil
Sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Equipment

  • Wok or large skillet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Pot for noodles
  • Tongs or spatula

Method
 

  1. Cook rice noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, chili flakes, water, and lime juice.
  3. Heat oil in a wok and cook ground beef until browned.
  4. Add garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant.
  5. Add bell pepper and cook until slightly tender.
  6. Add noodles and sauce and toss well.
  7. Stir in Thai basil and green onions until wilted.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

Adjust chili flakes for desired spice level.
