Chocolate Mousse
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup or sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in short intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Warm heavy cream in a saucepan until steaming but not boiling.
  3. Add melted chocolate, warm cream, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to a blender.
  4. Blend for 20–30 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour mousse into dessert glasses or bowls.
  6. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until set.
  7. Top with whipped cream or chocolate shavings before serving.
