- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract.
- Gradually add flour mixture alternating with milk. Fold in diced apples gently.
- Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for swirl in a small bowl.
- Pour half the batter into pan, add half the cinnamon mixture, remaining batter, then remaining cinnamon mixture.
- Swirl with a knife to create marbled effect. Bake 50-60 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove to wire rack. Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm bread.
Notes
Store covered at room temperature up to 3 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months. Best served slightly warm with coffee or tea.
