Ingredients
  

Apple Filling
  • 1 apple peeled and diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
Quesadillas
  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese optional
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup for serving
  • powdered sugar for dusting

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a skillet and cook diced apples.
  2. Add brown sugar and cinnamon and cook until apples soften.
  3. Spread cream cheese on tortillas if using.
  4. Spoon apple filling on half of each tortilla.
  5. Fold tortillas and cook in skillet until golden.
  6. Slice into wedges and serve with maple syrup and powdered sugar.

Notes

Try adding nuts or caramel sauce for extra flavor.
