- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. Line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugars, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In separate bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Toss diced apples with 1 tablespoon flour to coat evenly.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients, stir until just combined. Fold in apples gently.
- Spread batter evenly in prepared pan, smoothing top with spatula.
- For crumb topping, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle crumb topping evenly over cake batter, covering entire surface.
- Bake 35-40 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out with few moist crumbs.
- For drizzle, whisk powdered sugar, apple cider, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Cool cake 15 minutes, then drizzle glaze over top. Cool completely before cutting.
Notes
Store covered at room temperature up to 4 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months. Drizzle may need refreshing after thawing.
