Ingredients
  

Noodles & Beef
  • 8 oz noodles (spaghetti, ramen, or rice noodles)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 3 green onions, chopped reserve some for garnish
Sauce
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
  • 0.5 cup beef broth or water
Garnish
  • toasted sesame seeds
  • extra green onions or cilantro

Equipment

  • Wok or large skillet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Pot for noodles

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with sesame oil.
  2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet until fully cooked, about 5–6 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add garlic, ginger, and onion; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add bell pepper and carrots; stir-fry for 3–4 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, rice vinegar, brown sugar, sriracha, and broth.
  6. Pour sauce into skillet. Add noodles and toss until coated. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

Add more sauce if you like extra-saucy noodles. Adjust sriracha for your preferred spice level.
