- Brew strong chamomile tea with boiling water and steep for 8-10 minutes to extract maximum flavor.
- Remove tea bag or strain loose flowers, then refrigerate tea until completely cool, about 30 minutes.
- Slice banana and freeze for at least 2 hours, or use pre-frozen banana for best texture.
- Add cooled chamomile tea to blender first, followed by frozen banana slices.
- Include Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and optional ginger in blender.
- Blend on high speed for 60-90 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or spice levels according to preference.
- Pour into glasses and garnish with chamomile flowers, banana slices, nuts, and honey drizzle.
Notes
For best results, prepare chamomile tea the night before. This smoothie is naturally vegan when using plant-based yogurt. Can be made ahead and stored in refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
