Potato Wedges
  • 4 large russet potatoes scrubbed and cut into wedges
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut potatoes into wedges and soak in cold water for 30 minutes.
  3. Drain and dry potatoes thoroughly.
  4. Toss with olive oil and seasonings until evenly coated.
  5. Arrange on a baking sheet without overlapping.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan before serving.

Notes

Soaking potatoes before baking removes starch and ensures a crisp exterior.
