Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 0.75 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.25 cup onion finely minced or grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for brushing

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine breadcrumbs and milk in a large bowl and let soak briefly.
  3. Add ground meat, egg, Parmesan, garlic, onion, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  4. Roll into evenly sized meatballs and arrange on baking sheet.
  5. Lightly brush or spray with olive oil and bake 18–22 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Rest briefly before serving or adding to sauce.

Notes

Avoid overmixing to keep meatballs tender.
