- Season shrimp with blackened seasoning.
- Sear shrimp in butter until blackened; remove and set aside.
- Sauté onions and mushrooms in remaining butter.
- Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Add flour and stir to create a roux.
- Whisk in broth until smooth and simmer.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in sour cream and heavy cream on low heat.
- Return shrimp to skillet and coat in sauce.
- Serve over noodles or rice and garnish with parsley.
Notes
Add spinach or Parmesan for extra richness. Avoid boiling after adding sour cream to prevent curdling.
