Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender
  • 0.75 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup fresh basil leaves lightly packed
  • 0.5 cup sugar or honey adjust to taste
  • 2 cups ice for serving

  • Fine mesh strainer

Method
 

  1. Simmer water with dried lavender, steep, strain, and cool.
  2. Simmer blueberries gently, mash, and strain to extract juice.
  3. Muddle basil leaves with lemon juice in a pitcher.
  4. Add blueberry juice, lavender infusion, and sweetener. Stir well.
  5. Chill, then serve over ice with optional sparkling water.

Notes

For a sparkling version, top with chilled sparkling water just before serving.
