- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking pan.
- Mix sugars and butter, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt.
- Spread brownie batter into pan and bake 15 minutes.
- Whisk pecan pie ingredients and stir in pecans.
- Pour pecan mixture over brownie layer.
- Bake 35–40 minutes until set.
- Cool completely and chill before slicing.
