Ingredients
  

Peanut Butter Layer
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1.5 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 salt pinch
Chocolate Topping
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 9x13 baking pan

Method
 

  1. Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
  2. Beat butter and peanut butter together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar until a thick, smooth dough forms. Mix in vanilla and salt.
  4. Press the peanut butter mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  5. Melt chocolate chips and butter together until smooth and glossy.
  6. Spread the chocolate evenly over the peanut butter layer.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
  8. Lift from the pan, slice into bars, and serve.

Notes

Bars slice cleanest when the knife is warmed under hot water and wiped dry.
