- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together.
- Brown butter and cool slightly.
- Mix butter with sugars until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
- Fold in dry ingredients and pecans.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and allow to set on the pan.
