Ingredients
  

Beef Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 0.33 cup diced pickles
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Wrapping
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • water for sealing
Frying
  • oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Cook ground beef and onions in a skillet until browned, then drain excess grease.
  2. Add salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and mustard. Stir and cook 1 minute.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in diced pickles and shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Place filling in egg roll wrappers, fold sides, roll tightly, and seal with water.
  5. Fry at 350°F (175°C) until golden, about 3–4 minutes.
  6. Drain on a wire rack and serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

Cool the filling before rolling to prevent wrapper tearing. Use a wire rack to maintain crispiness.
