Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Press one can of crescent roll dough into the bottom of the dish, sealing seams.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
- Spread the filling evenly over the bottom dough layer.
- Top with second crescent roll sheet and seal edges.
- Pour melted butter over top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Bake for 28–35 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool for 15 minutes before slicing. Drizzle with honey or caramel if desired.
Notes
For a flavor twist, add a layer of fruit jam, lemon zest, or chocolate chips before baking.
