Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter cold, cubed
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 jalapeños seeded and finely diced
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Mix flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  3. Stir in cheese and jalapeños.
  4. Form dough, wrap, and chill 30 minutes.
  5. Slice into pieces and place on baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18–22 minutes.
