Ingredients
  

Stir Fry
  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce divided
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 0.75 cup chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Equipment

  • Wok or large skillet
  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Toss chicken with cornstarch and 1 tablespoon soy sauce. Rest 10 minutes.
  2. Whisk remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and chicken broth.
  3. Stir fry broccoli in hot oil 3–4 minutes; remove.
  4. Cook chicken until nearly done.
  5. Add garlic and ginger; cook 30 seconds.
  6. Return broccoli and add sauce; cook until thickened.

Notes

Slice chicken thinly against the grain for tenderness. Do not overcook broccoli.
