Ingredients
  

Sandwich
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast sliced or shredded
  • 1 avocado ripe, sliced
  • 4 slices cheese melting variety
  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Skillet or grill pan
  • Spatula
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Brush one side of each bread slice with olive oil or butter.
  2. Layer chicken, avocado, tomato, and cheese on bread slices.
  3. Close sandwiches and heat a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook sandwiches until bread is golden and cheese is melted, flipping once.
  5. Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Use ripe but firm avocado for best texture.
