Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb boneless chicken thighs skinless
  • 0.75 cup plain yogurt
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon zest and juice
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1.5 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Large skillet or grill pan

Method
 

  1. Mix yogurt, oil, garlic, lemon, and spices.
  2. Marinate chicken for at least 2 hours.
  3. Cook chicken in a hot skillet until golden and cooked through.
  4. Rest briefly, then slice thinly.
  5. Serve hot with desired accompaniments.

Notes

Overnight marination gives the best flavor.
