Base
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries
  • 8 oz semisweet or milk chocolate chopped
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil optional
Decorations
  • mini pretzels for feathers or legs
  • candy eyes
  • red candy melts
  • orange candy melts
  • melted caramel optional drizzle

Equipment

  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Parchment paper
  • Toothpicks or piping bags
  • Baking tray

Method
 

  1. Wash and dry strawberries thoroughly.
  2. Melt chocolate and coconut oil until smooth.
  3. Dip each strawberry into melted chocolate and place on parchment.
  4. Insert pretzels for feathers before chocolate sets.
  5. Attach candy eyes, beak, and wattle with melted candy melts.
  6. Chill for 10–15 minutes until firm.
  7. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 days.
