- Rinse jasmine rice under cold water until mostly clear.
- Combine coconut milk, water, salt, sugar, and coconut oil in a saucepan.
- Stir in rice and bring to a gentle boil.
- Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let rest, covered, for 5 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork and serve warm.
Notes
Adjust salt to taste and avoid lifting the lid while cooking.
