Ingredients
  

Butter Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 lemon zest from 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
Seasonings & Herbs
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp chives chopped
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp chili flakes
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.
  3. Whisk in Dijon mustard, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  4. Add paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper, whisking to combine.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in parsley and chives.
  6. Serve immediately as a dipping or drizzling sauce.

Notes

For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne. For a smoother texture, strain out the garlic.
