Ingredients
  

Biscuit Dough
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 0.75 cup milk
Crab Filling
  • 1 cup crab meat lump or claw
  • 0.33 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 0.5 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 2 tbsp cheddar cheese optional
Lemon Butter
  • 4 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix biscuit mix, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, Old Bay, and milk to form dough.
  3. Mix crab meat, mayo, lemon zest, seasoning, parsley, and optional cheese.
  4. Portion dough into 12 balls and flatten slightly.
  5. Spoon crab filling into the center of each dough piece.
  6. Seal dough around filling and place seam-side down.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix melted butter, lemon juice, garlic powder, and parsley.
  9. Brush lemon butter over hot biscuits and serve.

Notes

For spicy biscuits, add cayenne or diced jalapeño to the filling.
