  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1-2 jalapeños finely diced, adjust to heat preference
  • 2-3 tbsp honey
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 0.25 tsp smoked paprika optional
  • fresh parsley or cilantro chopped, for garnish
  • extra cranberries or jalapeño slices for garnish

Method
 

  1. Soften the cream cheese and rinse cranberries if fresh. Dice jalapeños.
  2. In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Stir in honey, diced jalapeños, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and smoked paprika.
  4. Fold in cranberries gently, keeping them whole or slightly crushed.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Garnish with extra cranberries, jalapeño slices, and parsley or cilantro. Serve with chips, crackers, or vegetables.
