Ingredients
  

  • 20 oz cheese tortellini fresh or refrigerated
  • 1 lb steak sirloin or ribeye
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Pasta pot
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in skillet and sear steak until browned. Remove and rest.
  4. Melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add cream and Italian seasoning, simmer gently.
  6. Stir in Parmesan until sauce thickens.
  7. Slice steak against the grain.
  8. Add tortellini and steak back to skillet and toss.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Reheat gently with extra cream if needed.
