Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz penne pasta dry
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated

Method
 

  1. Sauté garlic in butter and olive oil using Instant Pot Sauté mode.
  2. Add penne, broth, and seasonings; stir gently.
  3. Pressure cook on High for 5 minutes.
  4. Quick release pressure and stir.
  5. Add heavy cream and parmesan; stir until creamy.
  6. Adjust seasoning and serve warm.

Notes

Add a splash of broth when reheating to loosen sauce.
