Ingredients
  

Lemonade Base
  • 2 ripe pears peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5-0.75 cup sugar or honey to taste
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream or coconut milk
  • 1 cup ice cubes plus extra for serving

Method
 

  1. Blend pears with 1/2 cup water until smooth.
  2. Strain purée if desired for smoother texture.
  3. Mix lemon juice and sugar in a pitcher until dissolved.
  4. Stir in pear purée.
  5. Add cream or coconut milk and mix well.
  6. Add remaining water and stir. Adjust sweetness.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish.

Notes

For dairy-free version, use coconut milk. Chill before serving for best flavor.
