Ingredients
  

Latte
  • 1.5 cups milk any type
  • 1-2 tsp beet or pitaya powder
  • 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • optional spices cinnamon, ginger, cardamom

Method
 

  1. Warm the milk in a saucepan until steamy but not boiling.
  2. Whisk powder with a splash of hot milk in a mug to create a smooth paste.
  3. Add honey and vanilla, stirring to dissolve.
  4. Pour in the rest of the steamed milk and top with foam.
  5. Garnish with extra powder or cinnamon and serve warm.

Notes

Use pitaya for a fruitier flavor and brighter color; beet gives an earthier taste.
