Method
- Prepare chicken breasts by pounding to even 3/4-inch thickness between plastic wrap.
- Set up breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs in separate dishes.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Bread each chicken breast by dredging in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.
- Spray air fryer basket and arrange chicken in single layer without overlapping.
- Spray tops of breaded chicken with cooking spray for even browning.
- Cook for 6 minutes, then flip and spray exposed side with cooking spray.
- Continue cooking 6-9 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest chicken 3-5 minutes before serving to redistribute juices.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For best results, don't overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary. Store leftovers in refrigerator up to 3 days and reheat in air fryer to restore crispiness.
