Ingredients
  

  • 3 lb chicken pieces bone-in
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk and eggs for at least 2 hours.
  2. Mix flour, cornstarch, and seasonings in a bowl.
  3. Dredge chicken thoroughly in seasoned flour.
  4. Rest coated chicken for 10 minutes.
  5. Fry in 350°F oil until golden and cooked through.
