Ingredients
  

Carnitas
  • 4 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 orange juiced
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Sear pork until browned.
  2. Place in slow cooker with remaining ingredients.
  3. Cook until tender.
  4. Shred pork and broil until crispy.

Notes

Broil just before serving for best texture.
