Main Ingredients
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz each
  • 0.75 cup milk or half-and-half
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 4 cups green beans fresh, frozen, or canned
  • 1.5 cups crispy fried onions divided
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Spray slow cooker with nonstick spray.
  2. Whisk together soup, milk, pepper, garlic powder, and soy sauce in a large bowl.
  3. Fold in green beans, half the fried onions, and cheese (if using).
  4. Transfer to slow cooker and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
  5. Top with remaining fried onions and heat uncovered for 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, add the onions just before serving.
