Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease baking pan.
- Pour melted butter into pan and sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Arrange pineapple rings and cherries over sugar layer.
- Prepare cake mix using pineapple juice instead of water.
- Pour batter over fruit and bake 40–45 minutes.
- Cool 5 minutes, then invert onto serving plate.
Notes
Invert cake while warm for best release.
