- Add garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to sauce, whisk until incorporated.
- Pour cream sauce evenly over chicken in baking dish.
- Bake uncovered 20-25 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature.
- Rest 5 minutes, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve with extra sauce.
Notes
For best results, ensure cream cheese is fully softened before cooking. Chicken can be marinated in seasonings for up to 4 hours for deeper flavor. Leftovers keep refrigerated for 3 days.
