Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz pasta
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Skillet
  • Colander

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted water and add broccoli during the last 2-3 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. Sauté garlic in olive oil.
  3. Add heavy cream and simmer briefly.
  4. Stir in Parmesan and seasonings until smooth.
  5. Toss pasta and broccoli with sauce, adding pasta water as needed. Serve warm.

Notes

Add pasta water gradually for perfect creamy consistency.
