- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Sprinkle taco seasoning over the chicken.
- Pour salsa over the top, spreading to coat.
- Add cream cheese or chicken broth if using.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
- Shred chicken directly in the crockpot using two forks.
- Stir to combine so chicken absorbs the salsa.
- Serve warm in bowls, tacos, rice, or meal prep containers.
Notes
For extra moisture, add 1/4 cup broth. For creamy version, add cream cheese during last hour.
