Ingredients
  

Focaccia Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.25 cups warm water 110°F / 43°C
  • 0.25 cup olive oil plus extra for drizzling
  • 2 tsp fresh rosemary chopped, or 1 tsp dried
  • coarse sea salt for topping

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • 9x13-inch baking pan
  • Wooden spoon
  • Plastic wrap or kitchen towel

Method
 

  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil. Mix until a sticky dough forms; no kneading required.
  3. Cover and let dough rise 1–2 hours until doubled in size.
  4. Grease a 9x13 inch pan and transfer dough. Spread gently with fingers.
  5. Dimple the dough with fingers, drizzle olive oil, and sprinkle rosemary and coarse salt.
  6. Cover and let rise another 20–30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Cool slightly, cut into slices, and serve.

Notes

Customize with toppings like cherry tomatoes, olives, or garlic. Use well-greased pan for easy release.
