- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk melted butter with granulated and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla, whisking until glossy.
- Fold in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour batter into pan and bake until edges are set and center is slightly soft.
- Cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
Do not overbake for best fudgy texture.
