Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1.25 cups milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional

Method
 

  1. Whisk dry ingredients together.
  2. Whisk wet ingredients separately.
  3. Combine wet and dry mixtures gently.
  4. Rest batter 5–10 minutes.

Notes
