Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 cup glutinous rice flour
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Filling
  • 1 cup red bean paste

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Steamer
  • Mooncake mold
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Mix dry ingredients and whisk in milk until smooth.
  2. Add oil and mix well.
  3. Steam for 20–25 minutes until cooked.
  4. Cool and knead dough until smooth.
  5. Divide dough and filling into portions.
  6. Wrap filling with dough and shape using mold.
  7. Chill before serving.

Notes

Keep dough covered to prevent drying. Best served chilled.
