Ingredients
  

Pinwheels
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 250 g ground sausage
  • 1 egg optional for egg wash

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Roll out puff pastry on floured surface.
  3. Spread sausage evenly over pastry.
  4. Roll tightly into a log shape.
  5. Slice into pinwheels and place on baking sheet.
  6. Brush with egg wash if desired.
  7. Bake 18–22 minutes until golden.
  8. Cool slightly and serve.
