Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 4 russet potatoes sliced
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups kale chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Equipment

  • Large pot or Dutch oven
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Brown sausage in olive oil, then cook onion and garlic.
  2. Add potatoes and broth; simmer until tender.
  3. Stir in kale and cream; heat through and season.

Notes

Do not boil after adding cream to maintain texture.
