Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper.
- Blend chickpeas in a food processor until completely smooth.
- Add almond butter, maple syrup, coconut sugar, coconut oil, and vanilla extract and blend until creamy.
- Add baking powder and salt and pulse briefly to combine.
- Transfer batter to a bowl and fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 25 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool completely before slicing into bars.
Notes
For extra sweetness, add additional chocolate chips or a drizzle of melted chocolate on top.
