Ingredients
  

Main
  • 4 potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 cup Montasio cheese grated
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Boil potatoes until tender, then drain.
  2. Sauté onion in butter until soft.
  3. Add potatoes and season.
  4. Cook until slightly crisp.
  5. Add cheese and let melt.
  6. Press and cook until golden crust forms.
  7. Flip and crisp the other side.

Notes

Use a nonstick or well-seasoned skillet for best results.
