Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 2.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1.25 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Frosting
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tbsp milk

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven and prepare baking sheets.
  2. Mix dry ingredients.
  3. Cream butter and sugar, add wet ingredients.
  4. Combine and form dough.
  5. Shape and bake cookies.
  6. Cool and frost.

Notes

Do not overbake to keep cookies soft.
