Ingredients
  

Sandwich
  • 4 slices bread thick cut
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1.5 cups cheese shredded or sliced

Equipment

  • Nonstick skillet
  • Spatula
  • Small mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Mix butter, garlic, parsley, and salt in a small bowl.
  2. Spread garlic butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Heat skillet over medium-low heat and place bread butter-side down.
  4. Add cheese, top with second slice butter-side up, and cook until golden.
  5. Flip carefully and cook until cheese is melted.

Notes

Cook low and slow for best melt and crisp texture.
