- Sauté chickpeas in oil until lightly golden; remove and set aside.
- Stir fry broccoli until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Return chickpeas to pan and add soy sauce and broth.
- Add cornstarch slurry if using and cook until sauce thickens.
